Use Case

This structure is used for CNC High-Speed Machining (HSM) strategies, non-ferrous metallurgy training, composite routing, and "Mirror Finish" surface generation processes.

Non-Ferrous Machining Limits

PCD tools CANNOT be used on steel or iron (at high temperatures, the carbon reacts and melts the diamond). However, they are unrivaled for aluminum, brass, and carbon fiber.

Because it is designed to operate at phenomenal speeds like 30,000 RPM, the dynamic balance of this body must be Flawless (G2.5 class). If the body were two pieces (holder + head), the connection point would deflect under centrifugal force at high speeds, causing vibration. This monolithic design eliminates that deflection.

Engineering Note

PCD is synthesized in a lab environment using High-Pressure High-Temperature (HPHT) processes to bind diamond particles. Its wear resistance is 50 to 100 times greater than carbide tools. Its sharpness is so extreme that it shears through aluminum like butter, preventing heat buildup and leaving a flawless "mirror finish".
